1,899 people evacuated from Iran via Azerbaijani border so far-UPDATED-PHOTO

A total of 1,899 people were evacuated from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan from 08:00 on February 28 to 18:00 on March 8, APA reports.

314 of the evacuees are Azerbaijani citizens.

In addition, 538 China, 290 Russia, 173 Tajikistan, 123 Pakistan, 57 Oman, 44 Italy, 32 Indonesia, 26 Spain, 26 Iran, 18 Saudi Arabia, 17 Japan, 16 France, 14 Germany, 13 Georgia, 12 Uzbekistan, 10 Bulgaria, 10 Democratic Republic of Congo, 10 Nigeria, 8 Brazil, 8 Great Britain, 5 Kazakhstan, 7 Belarus, 6 UAE, 6 Slovakia, 6 Canada, 5 Serbia, 5 Afghanistan, 5 Czech Republic, 5 Switzerland, 5 Australia, 4 Bahrain, 4 Jordan, 4 Sri Lanka, 4 Ukraine, 4 Turkey, 4 Hungary, 4 Belgium, 4 Kuwait, 3 Philippines, 3 Qatar, 3 Mexico, 3 Finland, 3 Croatia, 3 Romania, 3 Citizens from Bangladesh, 2 Nepal, 2 Lebanon, 2 Yemen, 2 Kyrgyzstan, 2 Sudan, 2 India, 2 Cyprus, as well as 1 foreign citizen each from Poland, Tunisia, South Africa, Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Sweden, Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt and the United States were evacuated.

A total of 1,873 people have been evacuated from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan between 08:00 on February 28 and 10:00 on March 8 via the Azerbaijani border.

According to APA, 309 of those evacuated are Azerbaijani citizens.

The evacuees also include foreign nationals: **529 from China, 282 from Russia, 173 from Tajikistan, 123 from Pakistan, 57 from Oman, 44 from Italy, 32 from Indonesia, 26 from Spain, 25 from Iran, 18 from Saudi Arabia, 17 from Japan, 16 from France, 14 from Germany, 13 from Georgia, 12 from Uzbekistan, 10 from Bulgaria, 10 from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 8 from Brazil, 8 from the United Kingdom, 7 from Belarus, 6 each from the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia and Canada, 5 each from Serbia, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Australia, 4 each from Bahrain, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Türkiye, Hungary, Belgium and Kuwait, 3 each from the Philippines, Qatar, Mexico, Finland, Croatia, Romania and Bangladesh, and 2 each from Nepal, Lebanon, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan, India and Cyprus.

In addition, one citizen each from Poland, Tunisia, South Africa, the Maldives, Myanmar, Cuba, Sweden, the Vatican, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Egypt and the United States was also evacuated.
