In 2025, a total of 184,419 foreign nationals lived in Azerbaijan on legal grounds, APA reports.
This was reflected in the “Report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
It was noted that in 2024, the number of such individuals stood at 184,835.
The report also states that during the reporting year, the State Migration Service received a total of 941,400 applications related to registration at place of residence, extension of temporary stay, obtaining or extending temporary and permanent residence permits, work permits, refugee status, citizenship, readmission and other issues.
Of these applications, 330,500 were submitted through electronic migration services.
