A total of 1,317 people have been evacuated from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan between 08:00 on February 28 and 10:00 on March 5, APA reports.
In addition, the evacuated foreign nationals include 401 citizens of China, 259 of Russia, 109 of Tajikistan, 88 of Pakistan, 46 of Oman, 20 of Spain, 18 of Saudi Arabia, 11 of Iran, 9 of Georgia, 8 of Brazil, 7 of Belarus, 6 of the United Arab Emirates, 6 of Slovakia, 5 of Serbia, 5 of Nigeria, 4 of Jordan, 4 of Switzerland, 4 of Japan, 3 of Qatar, 3 of Bangladesh, 3 of Uzbekistan, 3 of France, 3 of Mexico, 3 of the Philippines, 3 of Kazakhstan, 2 of Nepal, 2 of Türkiye, 2 of Yemen, 2 of Kyrgyzstan, 2 of Italy, 2 of the Czech Republic, 2 of the United Kingdom, and 2 of Croatia.
Meanwhile, one citizen each from Poland, Tunisia, Lebanon, India, Myanmar, the Maldives, South Africa, Cuba, Ukraine, Sweden, and Germany was also evacuated.
