Masno Ginting: â€œAzerbaijan will be much known in the world after the International Junior Science Olympiad in Decemberâ€

Representatives of at least 51 countries will attend the 6th International Junior Science Olympiad in Baku in December, 2009, said IJSO President Dr. Masno Ginting, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan for knowing the preparation work, APA reports. Ginting said competitions would be held individually and among the teams. â€œI hope that the Olympiad will increase the youth interest to the science. No country can be developed without strong science. I observed there are many clever young people in Azerbaijan. I believe that the International Junior Science Olympiad will play great role in the development of Azerbaijan. I am very happy that Azerbaijan hosts such important eventâ€.
Ginting noted that he had little information about Azerbaijan before his visit, but he was wondered arriving in Baku. â€œI visit as if the European country. I am very pleased with preparation work for the Olympiad. I assure you that Azerbaijan will be much known all over the world â€“ from Africa to America- after the December Olympiad. All participants are 15. They have long life ahead. Therefore I hope that Azerbaijan will always remain in their memoryâ€.
