Azerbaijani examinations experts leave for study trip to EU countries

Baku â€“APA. Court senior examination experts are on the study trip to EU countries (The Netherlands, Germany, Austria) on February 23-27, 2009 within the fifth component of the EU/UNDP-funded South Caucasian Ant-Drug Program (SCAD) â€“ Regional Cooperation between the Law-Enforcement Organizations, SCAD press service told APA. SCAD local manager Mazahir Efendiyev, Chief of the Justice Ministry Forensic Examination Center Fuad Javadov, Senior Expert of the Justice Ministry Biological Examination Department Sabina Aliyeva, Chief of the Interior Ministry Criminal Investigation Office Chingiz Sadigov, Chief of the Chemist Unit of the Forensic-Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Association Galiv Hasanov are representing Azerbaijan.
The visit aims to strengthen relations between the examination institutions in the South Caucasian and EU countries. The delegation will visit Hague-based Institute of Forensic Studies, the Netherlands, Dusseldorf-based Institute of Criminal Investigation Techniques, Germany, Forensic Examination Department of the Interior Ministry of Austria, as well as UN anti-drug laboratory to exchange experiences and to learn the modern methods of anti-drug examination and services.
