AZN 10 million to be allocated for education of Azerbaijani youth abroad within State Program

Education Minister Misir Mardanov said owing to these expenses the Azerbaijanis would continue their education.

Admission to the famous higher schools of foreign countries is through stages. Competition has already been announced in connection with studying in Germany. German expert group will visit Azerbaijan and hold tests for the applicants. The competition for studying in the US and France will be announced later.

The minister said Azerbaijan had signed contract with a number of countries for the implementation of the program and all activities were being carried in line with the contract.

Misir Mardanov also took a stance on the role of the scores of the certificate of secondary education in the tests to be held by the State Student Admission Commission. The minister said it is a positive step and noted that the issue will be solved when State Student Admission Commission and Azerbaijani people see that the marks in the education certificate proved to be right.
