NGO Government Support Council presents its publication â€œThe Civil Societyâ€

Baku. Ramil Mammadliâ€“APA. â€œThe Civil Societyâ€, a publication of the NGO Government Support Council under the President, was presented on Tuesday. Editor-in-chief Safar Alisharli said the journal, as a scientific-analytical and methodological publication, would research current and fundamental issues of the societyâ€™s social development and would publicize the government policy toward the public sector, APA reports. Alisharli said â€œThe Civil Societyâ€ would be published monthly beginning from 2009 with a larger circulation. Chairman of the Council Azay Guliyev spoke about the governmentâ€™s attention to the NGO sector in recent years. He said the Council took necessary measures for innovation of its activity. Members of the Council and NGO representatives also spoke about the importance of the publication and contribution it would make to the development of civil society.
