Temperature falls by 2-3 degrees in Baku and Absheron peninsula from today

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva-APA. North wind followed the south wind and the temperature has fallen by 2-3 degrees in Baku and Absheron peninsula from today. Deputy Director of National Hydrometeorological Department of Azerbaijan’s Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told APA that sharp change in weather condition will be more felt tomorrow. Strong north wind will blow from July 29 till the end of the week. During this period the temperature will not be above 35 degrees in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Fall of the temperature will be mainly felt in Absheron peninsula. The temperature will be 38-39 degrees in Aran regions, showers are forecasted in the mountainous areas, hail is also predicted.
Umayra Tagiyeva said that the hottest day in Baku and Absheron peninsula in summer was recorded yesterday – 40 degrees. This is 5 degrees above normal, but it is not the record figure.
