Anomalous heat likely to be repeated in Azerbaijan in August

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva-APA. Severe heat is not forecasted in Azerbaijan early in August. Deputy Director of National Hydrometeorological Department of Azerbaijanâ€™s Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told APA that the temperature will range between 32-34 degrees. Average monthly temperature in August will be 2-3 degrees above normal. Umayra Tagiyeva said that hot days are expected in August. The weather observed in the past days of July can be repeated on some days of next month. The temperature is predicted to be 40 degrees on these days in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The temperature is forecasted to be 42-43 degrees in Aran regions and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
