Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. “The highest peak of Russia-Azerbaijan relations is the establishment of Baku branch of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov”, said rector of Moscow State University (MSU) named after M.V.Lomonosov Victor Sadovnichiy, APA reports.

According to him, Baku branch is a pearl for MSU: “We have many branches, but Baku branch gives silence and satisfaction. That’s why the attitude is very good to them. Our future scientists are prepared there. When I was in humanitarian forum in Baku, I felt that we needed each other very much. We are neighbors, we must be together, love and respect each other. I had and have now many Azerbaijani students and dissertators. We have never felt that we are strangers. Yes, now we are citizens of separate independent countries. But we could maintain our friendship. We mark 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. I think that this date will continue for decades, centuries, millenniums”.
