National Security Ministry assists publication of book-album â€œ1918. Massacres of Azerbaijanis in photos and documentsâ€ â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku â€“ APA. On the eve of the day of genocide of Azerbaijanis, the Ministry of National Security published the book â€œ1918: massacres of Azerbaijanis in photos and documentsâ€ by Solmaz Rustamova-Tohidi. Press service of the ministry told APA that the book-album contains unique factual materials about the genocide perpetrated by the dashnak-bolshevik armed groups against the Azerbaijani people in March and following months, 1918. It also contains the facts identified by the investigative committee established by the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918, but not saved in the Azerbaijani archives.

The Ministry of National Security also supported the publication of the Solmaz Rustamova-Tohidiâ€™s books â€œBaku. March 1918. Pogroms against Azerbaijanisâ€ in 2009 and â€œGuba. April-May, 1918: Pogroms against Muslimsâ€ in 2010.

The newly-published book contains photos reflecting tragic destiny of tens of thousands of Azerbaijanis, who were killed by the Armenians in Baku, Shamakhi and Goychay cities of Azerbaijan in March-July, 1918. It also contains materials about the destroyed property of Muslim population. These photos were submitted by the Azerbaijani delegation to the Paris Peace Conference in 1919.

The book was published in Turkish, English and Russian.
