Kemaleddin Heydarov: â€œThe Agsu passage will be opened today only for the motor-carsâ€

Elvin Yagubov â€“ APA. â€œAll necessary works will be carried out for the resettlement and housing of the residents suffered from the natural disasterâ€, Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kemaleddin Heydarov told reporters after his meeting with the residents of landslide-affected Mughanli village of Shamakhi region, APAâ€™s local correspondent reports.

Minister said that the landslide area and damaged private houses were inspected: â€œThere is very dangerous situation here. The unpleasant incident can occur any time. The damaged 46 houses are situated in a very dangerous territory and some of them were destroyed. The residents will be immediately resettled. It is possible to construct new houses in 55-ha lands of Mughanli municipality situated near Meysari village of the region. We have inspected that site with the specialists. The desire of the population will also be considered. The geological and engineering works will be carried out. The construction of houses will be planned after the evaluation of the risk at site. According to the instruction given by the Head of State, the residents will be provided with new houses, school, medical point and other social facilities in a short timeâ€.

Heydarov said experts of the ministries of Emergency Situations, Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as police inspected the Agsu passage and it will be opened today only for the motor-cars.
