Sliding zones activated in Azerbaijanâ€™s Shamakhy region

In general, More than half of the territory of Muganli village is located on sliding areaâ€.

Niftiyev says 18 houses in Sagiyan village of Shamakhy are also situated on sliding area: â€œAs snow thaws, this process gets intensive more. Generally, currently, 138 houses in active 11 sliding areas in Shamakhy region have absolutely suffered from deformation. An act has been drafted in relation to movement of 39 houses in Dedegunesh village of the region. 7 houses in Chagan-1 village, 8 in Chagan-2 village are located on sliding area. There are also houses on sliding areas in Miri Meysari and Jabani villagesâ€.
