Temperature rises in Azerbaijan, 7â€¦ 8 C expected in Baku, 10 C in some regions

The temperature will be -1â€¦ 3 C at night and 3â€¦7 C in the daytime. Senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told APA that on February 13-14 there will be rainfall in some places of the peninsula and it will be dry in the daytime.

On February 15 the weather will be mainly dry. Mild south-west wind will blow. The temperature will be -1â€¦ 3 C at night and 4â€¦ 8 C in the daytime.

On February 14 the weather will be mainly dry in Azerbaijanâ€™s regions. It will be foggy in some places. East wind will blow. The temperature will be -4â€¦ 1 C in lowland regions at night and 3â€¦ 8 C in the daytime. The temperature will be -10â€¦ -15 C in the mountains at night and 0â€¦ -5 C in the daytime. The minimal temperature in mountainous regions will be -13â€¦ 18 C. The roads will freeze at night and in the morning.

On February 15 the weather will be mainly dry in the regions. East wind will blow and will be intensive occasionally. The temperature will be -2â€¦ 3 C in lowland regions at night and 5â€¦ 10 C in the daytime. The temperature will be -10â€¦ -15 C in the mountains at night and -2â€¦3 C in the daytime. The minimal temperature in mountainous regions will be -11â€¦ -16 C.

According to medical-meteorological forecasts, the people were accustomed to the high atmosphere pressure as the territory of Azerbaijan, including Absheron peninsula was under the influence of Siberia anticyclone in the past two weeks. The fall of atmosphere pressure in Absheron peninsula on February 14-16 will be unfavorable for weather-sensitive people. Anyway, the gradual rise of temperature after the severe cold weather can be regarded as positive.
