Weather to deteriorate in Azerbaijan, heavy snowfall, snow slide forecasted in the high mountainous areas, roads to be frozen

Senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told APA that the roads will be frozen. Snow slide is expected in the high mountainous areas. Frosty weather will last till February 5.

On February 2, the weather will deteriorate in Baku and Absheron peninsula, strong north-west wind will blow, it is forecasted to snow. Snowstorm is expected. The roads will be frozen.

On February 3, it is expected to snow in Baku and Absheron peninsula. North-west wind will blow. The temperature will be -3â€¦ -5 C at night and 0â€¦ -3 C in the daytime. The roads will be frozen.

On February 4, it will be cloudy. The snowfall will gradually stop in the daytime. North-west wind will blow. The temperature will be -3â€¦ -5 C at night, 0â€¦ -2 C in the daytime. The roads will be frozen.

On February 2, it will snow in Azerbaijani regions. It will be foggy in some places. West wind will blow. The temperature will be -3â€¦ -6 C at night, -3â€¦ 2 C in the daytime, in the mountains -12â€¦ -17 C at night, 0â€¦ -5 C in the daytime. The minimum temperature will be -18â€¦ -23 C in the high mountainous areas. The roads will be frozen.

On February 3-4, it is forecasted to snow in the regions. On February 3, the snow will gradually stop in the western region, on February 4 in the eastern regions. It will be foggy in some places. West wind will blow. The temperature will be -3â€¦ -6 C at night, -2â€¦ 3 C in the daytime, in the mountains -12â€¦ -17 C at night, 0â€¦ -5 C in the daytime. The minimum temperature will be -20â€¦ -25 C in the high mountainous areas. The roads will be frozen.

Frosty weather will last till February 5.
