Family and Work event in Baku

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. On Thursday, the State Committee for Family, Women and Childrenâ€™s Problems organized an event in Baku entitled â€œFamily and Workâ€ within its cooperation with the International Labor Organization. Chairwoman of the committee Hijran Huseynova said the round table was dedicated to the discussion of coordination between the personal and working lives of the people and current situation in this field.

She said the most important factor for the improvement of the social status of the family was its material basis and this issue was always in focus of attention of the society. Huseynova said labor relations were the social basis of the family and it should be based on the humanist principles.

Chairman of the Milli Mejlis Committee for Social Policy Had Rajabli said the government of Azerbaijan took important measures for the strengthening of social protection of the family today and the families were receiving the social compensations.

He said every year amount of the compensations were increasing.
