Workshop conducted on assessment of civil officersâ€™ activity

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Commission for Civil Service Issues under President of Azerbaijan Republic and European Unionâ€™s SIGMA organization conducted a workshop on assessment of the activity of civil officers, APA reports. Chairman of the commission Bahram Khalilov said the main aim of the workshop is to support the reforms concerning civil service in the country. International experts shared the best practices in the world with Azerbaijani civil officers. Khalilov said several workshops will be conducted concerning the activity of civil officers within a year. First secretary of the EU office in Azerbaijan Stephen Stork said Azerbaijan is interested in the improvement of civil service.
â€œThe European Union also pays special attention to it. Good achievements require good partners. We believe that our cooperation with Azerbaijan will be long-lasting and we will apply our best practice in the country. We have undertaken commitment to establish economic cooperation and legal framework within the European Neighborhood Policy,â€ he said.
