A unified approach to clothing requirements for teachers and students will be introduced, APA reports.
This is reflected in the amendment to the Law on General Education discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, clothing requirements for teachers in state general education institutions will be determined by the body (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority.
The duties of parents or other legal representatives in the field of general education will also include ensuring that their children (or persons under their guardianship or care) comply with clothing requirements in state general education institutions.
Currently, school uniforms are applied for students in state general education institutions. In this regard, under the proposed new Article 24.2.2-1 of the Law on General Education, it is suggested that responsibility for ensuring compliance with these clothing requirements be assigned to parents or other legal representatives.
Students and teachers in state general education institutions will be required to comply with the established clothing requirements.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
