A meeting was held within the framework of the Ministry of Science and Education’s “Joint Vision for Science and Education” project, attended by the leadership and staff of the Ministry’s Department of Science, Higher and Vocational Education, as well as the administrative, academic, and teaching staff of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan University (TAU) and the Azerbaijan Technical University, Ministry of Science and Education told APA.
The main purpose of the meeting was to determine the development directions of Türkiye-Azerbaijan University during its two years of activity, address emerging challenges, and discuss priority areas in higher education.
During the meeting, ideas and proposals were voiced regarding improving the efficiency of higher education management, updating educational programs to meet modern requirements, ensuring flexibility in academic and administrative processes, organizing dual-degree programs, and enhancing the legislative framework.
Mehmet Şimşir, Vice-Rector of Türkiye-Azerbaijan University, thanked the Ministry of Science and Education for organizing the meeting and emphasized that such discussions play an important role in the development of higher education institutions.
