On June 1, an international children's creativity festival titled "Shusha — the cultural pearl of Turkic unity" will be held in Shusha to mark International Children’s Day, APA reports citing the Ministry of Science and Education.
Organized by the Ministry, the event will bring together schoolchildren from Turkic states.
The aim of the festival is to strengthen friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation among children from Turkic-speaking countries, promote national history and culture, and showcase the beauty of Shusha.
The concert program will feature 300 members of artistic groups from Turkic states performing their national music and dances.
The event will also host renowned cultural and art figures, around 150 schoolchildren, and children of martyrs as guests.
As part of the project, the visitors will also take part in excursions between May 26 and June 2 to explore the country's nature, historical and architectural landmarks, and ongoing restoration efforts.
