“Currently, 21 STEAM centers are operational," Igrar Nazarov, the head of the "STEAM Azerbaijan" project, said at the opening ceremony of the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival, APA reports.
He said, “This project, covering 41 schools and 6,000 students, encompasses more than 300,000 students and over 400,000 schools. We have successfully organized STEAM projects and established STEAM centers in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.”
Nəzərov noted that over the past five years, more than 25,000 participants have registered for the festival: “The highest number of registrations was this year. More than 5,000 foreign participants from 21 countries have registered.”
He also mentioned that students from Karabakh University have joined the competition.
