Fuad Chiragov appointed education adviser at Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia

An appointment has been made to the position of education adviser at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia, APA reports.

Fuad Chiragov has been appointed to the post.

Prior to this appointment, Chiragov served as Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan Institute of Education. He has also held various positions at the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center of Analysis of International Relations, and the South Caucasus Research Center, and has been engaged in teaching activities at higher education institutions.

Chiragov graduated from the Faculty of History of Baku State University with bachelor's and master's degrees. Within the framework of the State Program on Education Abroad, he also obtained a master's degree in sociology from Columbia University.

Note that education advisers operate at some Azerbaijani embassies to promote educational opportunities in Azerbaijan, develop cooperation with foreign countries in the field of education, support Azerbaijani citizens studying at educational institutions abroad and protect their educational rights, as well as ensure relevant coordination in this area.
