On January 21, Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with Turkish Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin as part of his official visit to Türkiye, the Ministry of Science and Education told APA.
It was reported that during the meeting, discussions were held on the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of general and vocational education.
Emin Amrullayev also met with the Chairman of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) Erol Özvar.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful development of strategic partnership and alliance relations in the field of higher education between the two countries, and the results of long-term fruitful cooperation between the higher education institutions of the two countries were appreciated.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on educational and scientific cooperation was signed between Karabakh University and Istanbul Technical University.
It should be noted that within the framework of the visit, the delegation led by the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev also visited Hacettepe and Ankara Universities.
