On June 20, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Firudin Gurbanov participated in the 14th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Science and Education told APA.
The co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission – Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, delivering speeches at the meeting, highly valued the efforts made to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and exchanged views on expanding cooperation into new areas.
At the end of the event, a Protocol summarizing the outcomes of the meeting was signed by the co-chairs of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
