Baku to implement remote learning in some schools and universities during WUF13

Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev has signed an order to regulate the operation of educational institutions in Baku during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 (WUF13), the Ministry of Science and Education told APA.

According to the order, certain changes will be made to the organization of the teaching and educational process in educational institutions operating in Baku during May 17–22, when WUF13 will be held (except for preschool and boarding-type general education institutions).

Thus, a break will be scheduled for preparatory groups and primary classes (grades 1–5) in general education institutions from May 18 to 22 (instead of May 1–5).

In addition, except for the districts of Pirallahi, Garadagh, Surakhani, Sabunchu, and Nizami, classes for grades 5–11 in general education institutions operating in other districts of Baku will be held in a remote format from May 18 to 22.

At the same time, the order notes that vocational, secondary specialized, and higher education institutions located in Baku will also conduct teaching in a distant (remote) format from May 18 to 22.
