Within the framework of the Intergovernmental Scholarship Program for the 2025-2026 academic year, 10 Azerbaijanis have gained the right to study in Kazakhstan, State Agency for Science and Higher Education told APA.
The program is implemented in accordance with the “Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan” dated April 3, 2017. According to the protocol, our students will study in Kazakhstan at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.
According to the final decision of the Kazakh side, the selected students were placed in prestigious higher education institutions of this country. Thus, 6 of them were placed in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which is ranked 166th in the “QS 2026 World University Rankings”, and 2 were placed in L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, 1 person will study at Astana International University, and 1 person will study at the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports.
2 of the students were admitted to the bachelor's degree, 7 to the master's degree, and 1 to the doctoral degree. They will study in the fields of economics and management, humanitarian and social, technical and technological specialties.
It should be noted that the announcement of the relevant scholarship program was made public on March 18 of this year.
