Compared to the first year, the number of schoolchildren involved in the STEAM project has increased more than 50 times," said Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev at the opening ceremony of the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival, APA reports.
He said that the SAF festival is celebrating its 5th anniversary: “We believe that over the past 5 years, ‘Azerbaijan SAF’ has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people for the better. SAF covers more than 500,000 schoolchildren and is gradually expanding every year. I believe that next year SAF will no longer remain just a project but will become part of Azerbaijan’s education system. We plan to teach SAF as a separate subject starting next year. This project will also be organized at Karabakh University next year.
