“The protection of the Azerbaijani language, fostering attachment to it, and recognizing its socio-cultural value are always among the ministry’s priorities,” the Ministry of Science and Education said in response to APA’s inquiry.
It was noted that, including efforts to preserve the purity of the Azerbaijani language, upcoming curriculum improvements and the textbooks to be developed on their basis will aim to further expand the richness, expressive capacity, and national-cultural features of the language through texts appropriate to students’ age levels.
