Mubariz Gurbanli said these mosques need to be registered.
“Documents required for registration should be prepared and religious communities created around these mosques should be considered official. After state-registration, the Caucasian Muslims Office should send akhunds to these mosques so that the holding of religious ceremonies in them can be absolutely legal. Regrettably, our calls of mosque registration and creation of religious communities have not been given an adequate response so far,” he noted.
Gurbanli said there is a sacred sanctuary in Nardaran.
“The state has provided care to the repair and preservation of this sanctuary and always will. But the problem is that there are some who abuse religious issues in Nardaran. There are beautiful schools where necessary conditions have been created for youth there to receive education. Unfortunately, we have parents who divert their children from education, which is inadmissible because and contrary to the law on compulsory general education. Such cases must be prevented,” he added.
