Registration for joining this year’s Hajj pilgrimage begins on February 10.
Hajj expenses are expected to rise compared to previous years due to the dramatic drop in manat’s rate. Expenses have been being calculated in US dollar since last year.
Note that, there are several options offered to pilgrims. One option, which offers more prestigious hotels where guests can have much more expensive meals and stay in four-bed rooms, will coast USD 5,750. The other, which offers relatively cheaper hotels with six-bed rooms, will coast USD 4,700. Because of the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, the pilgrimage process will take place via air only. The flights will be carried out by AZAL. The payment for Hajj pilgrimage will be made in US dollar.
The registration for Hajj pilgrimage from Azerbaijan can only be done through the CMO.
