Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board said once religious people gathered in 17-20 mosques.
“Now there are 2000 mosques in the country. Isn’t it enough? Azerbaijan has its own laws and we must obey them. We must not harm Islam. Those who speak against Sunnites in mosques will be punished. Some attempt to do religious discrimination. We will prevent it,” he said.
Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board said the khutbahs delivered under the Board’s recommendations are misrepresented.
“This is not right. Caucasian Muslims Board does not give the full text of khutbahs to akhunds, only shows some important points,” he said.
