“Recently, a group of persons calling themselves well-known theologians, believers attempt to commit provocations to show themselves to their patrons abroad. These provocations are being and will be suppressed resolutely. Eruption of such cases into the threat to the state and abuse of freedom of religion are unacceptable. Religious communities should also express position on such cases.”
Chairman of State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations Elshad Isgandarov said that the believers should express gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the steps taken towards the protection of tolerance in the religious sphere in Azerbaijan. The participants of the conference have supported his proposal.
