The community told APA that the complaints against the State Commission are related with limited import of religious books, censorship of religious literature and etc.
The appeal has already been received and approved by the European Court of Human Rights. It also includes the claims of community members Akchurina Gulsira Gayazovna and Mammadaliyeva Kamila Shovkatnova, whose appeal were rejected by the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan.
Baku Administrative-Economical Court No2 has also rejected the community’s appeal. The Baku Court of Appeal has upheld the decision. Keeping the decision in force, the Supreme Court has also rejected the appeal.
The State Commission on Work with religious Organizations has not commented on the issue.
