APA reports that President of the International Islam Mission Shafig Pshikhachev, Muslim leaders of Tajikistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Moldova, Belarus, the Baltic countries, Chechnya, Dagestan, Adygea, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan are attending the conference headed by Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office and CIS Muslims Advisory Council Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh.
Representatives of Russian Orthodox Church, Chief Rabbi of Russia, the Apostolic Nuncio in the South Caucasus Archbishop Marek Solczynski, Head of Socio-Political Department of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, MPs and religious community leaders are also attending the conference.
Prior to the conference, the participants visited Heydar Aliyev's grave in the Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs.
The conference was opened with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
