CMO assessed the attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Iran as politically motivated terrorist act

Caucasian Muslims Office issued a statement regarding the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, APA reports.

The statement reads: “Caucasus Muslim Board strongly condemns the act of aggression on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran on January 27, 2023 and considers it a politically motivated terrorist act. Targeting the sovereign territory of independent Azerbaijan - our Embassy and its employees - is a terrorist act directed against our country and contrary to international law in general."
