Azerbaijan raised the minimum service requirement for retirement as a military personnel in order to make longer use of the existing experience of military personnel, it was reflected in the Laws “On the Status of Military Personnel”, “On Approval of the Regulations “On Military Service”, “On Labor Pensions”, "On amending the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Military Duty and Military Service”, approved by the President Ilham Aliyev today, APA reports.
Based on the Law, the minimum length of service for retirement as military personnel is increased from 20 to 25 calendar years to make use of the experience of military personnel, whom the state has spent time and resources for training.
