“Tendency of crime and other offences in the armed forces continue to decrease year by year,” Military Prosecutor Khanlar Valiyev said at the ceremony dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Military Prosecutor's Office told APA.
He stated that works carried out in the direction of combating crime, strengthening law and order have been effective.
“The activities of military prosecutor's offices aimed at to strengthen military discipline in the Armed Forces, prevent and eliminate crime and other violations, protect human and civil rights and freedoms, as well as preventing actions that would damage the rights and legal interests of servicemen and civilian citizens in military structures, to increase the efficiency of work, improving efficiency and elimination of deficiencies and violations that may adversely affect the structure of the army,” Khanlar Valiyev stated.
