Azerbaijani journalists participating in a media tour in Israel visited Yad Vashem - the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, APA's correspondent sent to Israel reports.
The place is one of the important centers in terms of preserving the memory of Holocaust victims, collecting and studying documents from that period, as well as conveying historical truths to future generations.
Azerbaijani journalists got acquainted with the museum's exposition. The exposition presents the systematic persecution and mass murders carried out against Jews in Europe by Nazi Germany and its allies through photographs, documents, letters, personal belongings and witness testimonies.
