"Movement across the land border between Iran and Pakistan has been temporarily suspended due to technical issues," said Esmail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in comments to the IRNA news agency, APA's bureau in Tehran reports.
He explained that border crossings between the two countries have been temporarily halted due to certain technical problems and the need to implement precautionary measures.
Baghaei noted that the relevant authorities in Iran and Pakistan are in close contact to resolve the issue and restore normal operations at the border crossings.
Consultations are currently underway to ensure the matter is resolved as soon as possible.
