The works on expanding Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is almost to be concluded, said Rahman Rustamov, the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transportation of Azerbaijan during Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, APA reports.
“Further expansion of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway was decided. Those works also about to be completed,” Deputy Minister noted.
He said that there’re a number of solutions related to infrastructure in the coming years. There are also certain goals related to railways.
“I would like to especially mention that the renewal of railways in the direction of Osmanli-Astara is one of the main goals as well,” – Rahman Hummatov added.
