We have used artificial intelligence in two construction projects in Azerbaijan, Yeşeren Ersan, co-founder of Türkiye’s “Yes Architects” company, who participated in the “Invision Design Talks 2” forum, said in a statement to APA-Economics.
He stated that the company he leads operates offices in Baku, Istanbul, and Tashkent, and that its largest project portfolio is in Azerbaijan.
Yeşeren Ersan noted that the company is currently implementing several major projects in Azerbaijan, including residential complexes, hotels, and shopping centers.
According to her, the company is already widely using artificial intelligence tools in the design process.
The architect stated that artificial intelligence technologies have currently been used in two projects in Azerbaijan.
Yeşeren Ersan noted that in one of these projects, approximately 20% of the design work was prepared with the support of artificial intelligence, while in the other project, the figure reached 50%.
He emphasized that the use of artificial intelligence currently makes it possible to reduce costs by around 10%, and that this figure could reach 80–90% within the next five years.
The architect added that although artificial intelligence accelerates the decision-making process, the key decisions are still made by humans.
Note that the “Invision Design Talks 2” forum was organized through the cooperation of Seranit Azerbaijan and “Sinerji Pro.” The forum is being held with the media support of the APA News Agency.
