The deadline for the international tender for the construction of new four-lane highways that will connect Georgia with Azerbaijan and Armenia has been extended by 10 days, APA's local bureau reports, citing the Roads Department of Georgia's Ministry of Infrastructure.
The deadline for submitting bids under the tender, which was announced on July 7 and was scheduled to end on August 14, has been set for August 24.
Note that the project, with a total value of 250 million euros, will be financed through a loan from the European Investment Bank. The new highways, with a total length of 61.3 kilometers, will start in the city of Rustavi and will be built in the directions of the Red Bridge and Sadakhlo.
