The shortest route for delivering oil and gas from Central Asia to Europe will be along the Zangazur corridor, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Asaf Hajiyev told journalists on the sidelines of the 42nd meeting of the BSEC-URTA General Assembly held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, transport corridors between East and West, as well as North and South, pass through the territory of Azerbaijan: “If we add the Zangazur corridor here, Azerbaijan will become a very important state between East and West. The Zangazur corridor can include various types of transportation."
