The reconstruction of the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint located on the Russian-Azerbaijani border will be completed this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk said at the International Customs Forum held in Moscow, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
According to him, since 2022, after the reconstruction of another chekpoint on the Russian-Azerbaijani border - Tahirkent-Kazmalyar, there have been no queues on the border with Azerbaijan.
Overchuk also praised the results of the reconstruction of the "Yukhari Lars" checkpoint on the border with Georgia, saying that thanks to this, the border crossing capacity has significantly increased.
