The physical appearance of Shusha was preserved while the city plan was drawn up, Special Representative of President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov said in his remarks at the National Urban Forum, APA reports.

In this regard, we hold consultations with the residents of Shusha, and developed a master plan accordingly. Based on this, it is not planned to build high-rise buildings in Shusha," he said.

Aydin Karimov said that special attention is paid to historical and cultural heritage monuments: "There are about 200 such monuments in Shusha, some of which have been destroyed.”
