The passage of trucks at the Iranian-Azerbaijani border checkpoints will be accelerated, the agreement was reached at a meeting of Iranian and Azerbaijani customs officers, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
During the meeting held in the administrative building of the Astara Customs Office, the officials of the two countries agreed to reduce the waiting time for trucks at border checkpoints and accelerate the process of passage for trucks.
According to officials of the two countries, the passage of trucks between Iran and Azerbaijan has increased by 62.5 percent over the past 11 months.
