New requirements have been determined to prevent noise in the residential buildings in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
It has been reflected in the "Residential buildings. Design norms" approved by the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.
According to the norms, the insulation index of the inter-apartment walls and partitions from the air noise should be under 50 dB.
Sound insulation of Internal and external protective constructions of living rooms should ensure the reduction of the sound pressure of the external noise sources, as well as the impact sound pressure and engineering system equipment, air ducts.
