In connection with the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport will operate in an enhanced operationalmode from 15 to 25 May, press service of Airport told APA.
Considering the anticipated increase in the number of international delegations and passenger traffic arriving in the country as part of the forum, additional coordinationmechanisms have been implemented at the airport acrossoperational processes, passenger services, and security measures. The objective is to ensure the comfortable, safe, and seamless movement of participants, while maintainingpassenger experience at high standards.
During WUF13, Heydar Aliyev International Airport has beenintegrated into a dedicated transport system to facilitate more convenient movement of forum participants throughout the city. Participants will be able to benefit from seamless transport connectivity between the airport, major transport interchangehubs, accommodation venues, and the event location.
Within this framework, WUF13 Airport Shuttle Buses have beenoperating since 12 May and, through 24 May, provideuninterrupted service 24/7, ensuring convenient transportationfor forum participants to various locations across the city. On 25 May, the buses will operate until 18:00.
Participants may use the dedicated routes operating along the following key directions:

• A5 | Icherisheher
• A6 | Sea Breeze
At the same time, the “Airport Express” (H1 line), whichprovides convenient transportation for passengers, continues to operate as usual, offering uninterrupted 24/7 service from 28 May and Koroglu metro stations to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
In light of the increased passenger flow, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2–3 hours before theirflight. To ensure a smoother and more efficient travel experience, the use of online check-in in advance is alsorecommended.
