"Georgia closely cooperates with Azerbaijan in order to eliminate the challenges regarding the Middle Corridor," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said at the opening ceremony of the Tbilisi International Silk Road Forum, APA's Georgia bureau reports.
"Middle Corridor emerges as a stable and safe alternative to traditional transport corridors. It has already become one of the shortest and most reliable East-West transport corridors. Currently, we are working closely together with our Azerbaijani and Kazakh colleagues in order to eliminate the challenges by developing the means and infrastructure, simplifying the procedures, and applying a single tariff," Garibashvili noted.
