The construction of the Khudafarin-Gubadli-Lachin highway, one of the road infrastructure projects that will play an important role in the socio-economic development of the liberated regions and villages in the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions, is rapidly conducted, Azerbaijan State Agency of Automobile Roads (AAYDA) told APA.
The length of the Khudafarin-Gubadli-Lachin highway is 56.4 km.
In order to ensure the transfer of water according to the project along the newly built road, the construction of circular pipes and rectangular water crossings, as well as the bridges planned for the project, is underway. 42,5% of works on bridges have already been completed.
Already, 80 circular, 31 rectangular pipes and 13 underground passages have been built under the project, and 3105 meters of retaining wall have been built.
This road which passes through territories of Zangilan, Gubadli, and Lachin districts, will cover more than 30 residential settlements of the mentioned districts including Gubadli and Lachin cities.
